In response to recent cholera sensitization campaigns,
the Ibadan South West Local Government Area (ISWLGA) organized a comprehensive sanitation exercise in the Elewure community. This initiative aimed to promote a clean environment and prevent the spread of diseases within the community.
A dedicated team comprising Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) and surveillance volunteers from the Oyo State Ministry of Health participated in the exercise. Their efforts focused on clearing blocked drainages, removing waste, and educating residents on proper sanitation practices.
The sanitation exercise underscores ISWLGA’s commitment to public health and environmental cleanliness. Residents are encouraged to maintain hygiene standards and participate in future community sanitation activities.
For more information and updates on upcoming sanitation programs, please visit the official ISWLGA website or contact the Environmental Health Department.
